AB was founded 1995 by Claes Holm and Ove Svensson, an entrepreneur and an engineer both with extensive backgrounds in the building and window manufacturing industries.
The company was originally set up in a “tin shed” premises with 7 employees in Uddevalla – which is situated on the West Coast of Sweden.
The business has grown every year since then, and in 2007 Westcoast Windows relocated to a 7000m² state of the art production facility in Trollhattan.
In 2014 Westcoast Windows manufactured 40,000 units, of which approximately 40% was exported. Currently the company employs 85 persons.
